Volume V was published in 1981, covers the period of October 1944 to July 1945. In principle, the 370 documents deal with the consequences of the collapse of the Uprising by way of the unprecedented development of the structures of a Soviet regime in post-war Poland, ending with the gradual liquidation of the Polish armed resistanc, which still functioned till early 1950s.
