Description

It is the PUMST’s flagship publication in six volumes, published between the years 1970 and 1989. (Vol. I - 1970).

Volume I was published by PUMST in 1970. It covers the period from the formation of an underground military organization in September 1939 up to the Nazi attack on the USSR in June 1941, with 182 documents. During that time Poland was divided between the two allied occupiers: Nazi Germany and the USSR.  The occupiers collaborated in fighting the Polish Underground, which despite the newly-imposed borders tried to maintain a cohesive organization throughout the whole of Poland.
